Hyakka (百火) is a former classmate of Mao from 900 years ago.
Biography[]
History[]
Hyakka was an apprentice 900 years ago, then worked in a circus, but he now travels with Mao and Nanoka.
Plot[]
To be added
Appearance[]
He wears an eyepatch and has same hair colors as Mao — black and white. Hyakka is usually seen wearing a strange kimono with a flame-like design on the pants.
Personality[]
Hyakka is a fiery and hot tempered boy who strives for attention and others’ admiration, as seen when he wants praise from Nanoka. He’s laid back most of the time, but will get down to business when needed. He also doesn’t fear death, as seen when he shouts, “I almost died there!” To which Otoya replies nonchalantly, “You DID die.”
Relationships[]
Mao[]
Hyakka was one of the apprentices, along with Mao. While Hyakka did start training first, he was the one to cling onto Mao. During their time at the clan, Hyakka and Mao formed a relationship that’s best described as close brothers — Hyakka claiming to be the older one, albeit that he’s younger. Hyakka was called to the five sided temple to curse Mao to death. Now, they travel together and often fight side-by-side after about 900 years apart.
Nanoka Kiba[]
He often strives for her admiration, and he sometimes instructs Otoya to tell Nanoka what a hero is is. A few times, he saves Nanoka, but can’t bring out his powers’ full potential without harming her.
Kamon[]
Hyakka was one of the apprentices, along side Kamon. Both Hyakka and Kamon were called to the five sided temple to curse Mao to death. Now they appear to have a wordless truce, and although there seems to be a bit of tension, the two frequently side with Mao on the same team.
Sana[]
Hyakka was an apprentice at the clan’s training grounds that Sana’s family owned.

Trivia[]
- The Kanjis for his name 百火 stand for "100" and "fire".
- He’s sometimes referred to as ‘Hatsuka’, which is likely a mistranslation.
